To accommodate the growth in the Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage (PRF) pilot program over the last several years, the Risk Management Agency (RMA) has decided to manage and support the Grid ID Locator, Decision Support Tool, and Historical Indices (PRF Tools) internally. The current PRF tools are being supported by an external contractor.

The current PRF Tools will be available until April 30, 2017, while the new PRF tools are in testing status. After April 30, 2017, the current PRF tools will no longer be available and will be replaced with the new version. The PRF tools are available to help producers decide whether the Pasture, Rangeland, and Forage program will work with their operation and to give insight on how the program has performed in the past in an individual’s area. This tool is available at prodwebnlb.rma.usda.gov/apps/prf.

The new RMA Grid ID Locator, Decision Support Tool, Historical Indices will be available by close of business today at www.rma.usda.gov/policies/pasturerangeforage/.
