The Department of Agriculture (USDA), Risk Management Agency (RMA) is upgrading the CARS application to the Microsoft Dynamic 365 platform. The upgrade is scheduled to be completed July 22, 2024.

As a follow up to COM-24-005 published on June 24, 2024, there has been a change in the completion date for the CARS 365 upgrade from July 8, 2024, to July 22, 2024. This modification was deemed necessary to address some issues that were uncovered during the testing phase of development. The updated timeline allows additional time to resolve these identified issues, ensuring a successful launch of CARS 365. To facilitate the upgrade process, users should limit their usage of CARS starting on July 15, 2024. Furthermore, please note that as of the close of business on July 16, 2024, CARS will transition to read-only status. During this period, no new documents can be uploaded until the new CARS 365 site goes live on July 22, 2024. Subsequently, an email notification will be sent to the designated distribution email address of each AIP once the new site is operational.

AIP members needing access to CARS should continue to submit 586F forms to ensure timely approval. The 586F form should only list CARS 365 access on the form and establish a Login.gov account.
